Business and Home User Training  

Unique offers an excellent modular training option for Business and the Home User. These modules can be taken in a flexible way to either maximise the productivity of current workers or providing a keen home user or enthusiast with technical training to expand their knowledge. They are ideal for people currently working in the industry that want to get to a certain level or for people that feel they need a refresh and to learn new knowledge.

For the business they reduce costly call charges from IT organisations to fix basic IT and printer faults for example.

Module 1: Technician

Designed to install a logical approach ‘Technician' will provide candidates all the basics creating an essential building block for further knowledge. Candidates will learn about Windows Operating Systems, printers and Basic Networking. Other elements found in the Home and office is covered to include Audio Visual and basic faults.

Length: 1 week/ 5 days

Cost: £999 + VAT

Module 2: Engineer

The Engineers Course will provide a candidate a greater insight into Networks. How they are set up, how they work, and educated on common problems associated. In fact a whole week will be dedicated to Networking. Our final week will be dedicated to logical fault finding were candidates will be able to use what they have learnt to date to fix a multitude of common and not so common problems found in the Business/ corporate and Home environments

Length: 3 weeks / 15 days (Can be taken in weekly segments to fit current commitments or all in one go.)

Cost: £2999 + VAT 

Module 3: A+, Net+, Server+ and Security+ Preparation

Candidates now will be proficient in terms of technical ability and have a good grasp of Networking. They should be able to perform basic configuration and have enough knowledge to fix a majority of faults often found in a home and business environment. Achieving a Vendor Neutral qualification such as the worldwide Industry Recognised CompTIA awards provides the candidate with a great sense of achievement. For the employer or business it provides a quantifiable return on investment and significant reward to a hard working employee. In fact we are sure candidates trained in this way will regularly out perform those that have been trained either in a shorter time frame or by the usual distance learning method.

Length: 1 week/ 5 days

Cost: £1000 inc VAT (Exam fees are not included)

Unique also provide a 1 day Printer Course to corporate customers across the UK. The course is designed to provide moderately Tech aware people more theory around Windows printing. Candidates build on this knowledge to fix basic faults in the work place on a day to day basis. Organisations tell us that the Unique printer course has literally saved them £1000's over 12 months!

The Unique Printer course is not only residential and can be done remotely in the field or at your offices if required.
